Changes in the family structure. Analysing forms of family life. Individual subjects' rights in the family. Changes in the process of primary socialization. The child – politics – the family.
The social construction of motherhood and fatherhood. The changing of roles and role models in the family. Analysing educational models in the family. The theories that discuss the role and changes in disciplining and punishing in the educational process. Violence in the family.
Comparative analyses and the development of institutional education systems: the hidden curriculum, education in preschools and cooperation with parents during education of children – the basic goals and problems when planning intentional education, the availability of institutional forms of education, the cooperation between parents and preschools, the transition from preschool to mandatory primary school, etc.
Preschool and legal solutions in Slovenia. The curricular conception – the planned curriculum and the implemented curriculum. The integration of children with special needs. Planning, introducing, monitoring and evaluating the preschool curriculum – especially planning and conducting self-evaluation and assessing and assuring quality in preschools.
