She was born on November 26, 1993, in Brežice, where she graduated from secondary school in the European Section program. In 2016, as a double major student, she graduated from the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology on the subject of the beginnings of women's emancipatory movements in Ljubljana, and at the Department of Sociology on the connection between gender and class affiliation, with further emphasis on the exemplification of contemporary Slovenian society. She continued with Master’s studies in the fields of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology and Sociology of Culture. In 2018, she presented a joint Master’s thesis titled Moroccan Society and Gender Equality Movements: Modern Views on (Islamic) Feminism. During her studies, she participated in two Erasmus+ student exchanges at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology (Lumière Lyon 2 University, France and Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco).
